Machine Learning / Beacons Development

University of California San Diego, Division of Biomedical Informatics

Utilize Estimote Beacons and stickers to find practical applications in healthcare. For instance, one may use them to measure patient-clinician interactions or patient-family member interactions. Potentially, it would be experienced in every ICU patient's room, and serve as an indoor GPS.

Personal Projects

  • Augmented Reality Project - AR Ruler (iOS APP)
Using Xcode, I built an Augmented Reality feauture to develop an APP that can measure object's length and height through the user's phone's camera.

  • Machine Learning Project - Veggie Detective (iOS APP)
Utilizing online content such as Google pre-trained Inception v3 model and IBM Watson, I developed an iOS app that is able to detect whether an item is a vegetable or not.
